Are there any carbon fiber wrap that looks like it has a clear coat? I don't think I like the flat carbon look.

Also, when you detail the car, do you apply wax like it was a normal car? I may be getting a hardtop but it is in a different color. I want to wrap it with some CF. Do you think this may be hard to do?

Yes, there is, but it's not the same as this material that I am using. It is also almost impossible to use to wrap anything with any sort of curves to it at all with that material.

I tell all of my customers to not to wax this or any of my other matte vinyl finishes. I am waiting for a local to let me put this on their car and have a paint/body shop clear coat it. Who wants to be the first?

Wrapping the entire hardtop would be quite a challenge, and I would not recommend it for someone who isn't experienced.

what about using this for kidney grills? my black paint is peeling and i think this would compliment my steel gray.

Tried it, it doesn't work. It actually looks horrible with it on there, uneven spots, etc.

And here's a picture of a real cf hood that was finished in the same manner/style as the cf vinyl that I am using, just so you can see how these real pieces of cf compares to my cf material.
