and with that I'm going to stay out of this thread until 12/22. Unless I need some more NFL comedy.
C'mon man, keep that trash out of this thread.

Yes, a W is a W, but that was a fugly game at best. We had the edge in TOP and overall offense, I believe. And, yet, we almost let them tie it up with a safety at the end? Jeeeeesus.

I was at the game yesterday. The mood was pretty low leaving the stadium, even after a win.

I mean, rightfully so, don't you think? There wasn't really anything inspiring about that game. I guess one plus was that Campbell didn't throw an INT

@DET next week. I'm sure we'll make that one a game too.

Yeah, I guess so. The Lions scare me, they will win their first game any week now. Santana Moss better work his magic against them again this year.

I'd like to see Moss get some more looks. You're right, DET does look better than last year, which I guess isn't saying much. But, like last year where we gave STL their first win, doing the same for DET isn't outta the question...

Glad to see some Skins fans rolling hard out their on the west coast.

You going to be at either the San Diego or Oakland games this season when the Redskins come to town?

Also just got word that Randy Thomas is out for the season.

For sure. Apparently this place has been a skins bar for a few decades--it's on Washington Blvd in Culver City. The place is PACKED wall to wall with skins fans.

Definitely planning on going to the game in S.D. Not sure about Oakland--don't have a bullet proof vest yet

I can't believe how inept they were in the redzone and now with Thomas gone, it might get uglier. However, I was pleased with the sustained drives...perhaps they can build on that??? I just pray that Detroit doesn't get it's first win against us.

There's ALL this talk about DET upsetting the Skins on sports talk radio. Seems like no one is giving the Skins a shot and are expecting them to fail. So, while we're favored (6.5, I think), it seems like we're the underdog somehow. lol.

NO MORE GADGET PLAYS--especially on 3rd fawking down! Throw some passes down the field to strech the D; and use play action for crying out loud!

They just need to learn how to score when inside the red zone. I still can't believe we couldn't score a touchdown last week against the Rams.

At least JC looked a little better and the D put some pressure on the Rams. It'll be interesting to see what they dial up for Stafford....

Agreed completely. The red zone play calling has got to change.

Hate to tell ya this, but I'm actually betting money without the spread that Detroit beats the Skins outright.

Impatience. Ppl seem to forget Gibbs was 8-8 his first season as coach. Different times...
