Letting your GF move in with you...
How long would you usually wait before you let her move in with you? and did you regret it afterwards? lol

Shawna moved in with me after we had been together after about 2 years. It's kinda smart because it will let you know how they really are (and visa versa) so you know if you want to really marry them.

This is one of those questions that's really hard to answer. It really depends on how well you know her and if you could really spend time with her every single day.

I've done this before. I strongly suggest that if you are going to shack up you need to start on neutral territory. This means you both move into a suitable place so there is even footing when it comes to divvying up the living space.
This will help ease on any feelings of animosity, superiority, ownership and resentment. It's also great for making all the financial responsibilities of the property transparent so there are no $$$ surprises. $$$ is usually the argument base for relationships not working out. I suggest you proceed with caution and a realistic sense of what this move implies.

I think it all depends on how well you get along with her. One thing to consider.. while you will save money on rent (assuming ou split it), you will inevitably spend more out of pocket as you will get dinner out more often, spend more on gifts for her,e tc... Just something to keep in mind stan
![]() I have lived with my gf for two years now and love it

Make sure she's willing to share the responsibilities of living together (financially, cleaning, sharing space, etc.) It's fun at 1st because the experience is "new," but when it wears off it'll show people's true colors. You have nowhere to run away to. you can't exactly say "im going home" when you fight. If you enjoy doing things your way and having your own space, i'd advise against living together. If you're ready to share EVERYTHING, go for it!
