sounds bad but I dont really want to put a lot into my car. I'm prepared for being 16 years old that I will probably crash at some point therefor totaling it.

I bought my car when I was 16, I sold my old car for 4k which my parents gave me and then got my e46 for the money from the old car and rest I had saved up, I got a really good deal which was 8k 2 years ago. It was from some older people that always took great care of it and always serviced, and my parents still pay insurance I just pay for everything else, every mod is out of my pocket. I work hard for my money and always will.

great for you, i wouldnt tell anyone that. awesome your parents paid for it, youre lucky, but dont feel accomplished and proud after spending peanuts on mods compared to the $20 or 30 or 40 or 50 or whatever thousand dollars was already spent on you.

K lol, sounds good except for the fact that we are students too. Trying to keep GPA up is pretty tough...

I'm 19, sophomore in college.

Just bought my 01 330cic w/ 55k miles for 9000.

Put 3k down and i'm making payments on the rest.
I pay for gas, car, insurance, maintenance, and college.

Although my parents allow me to keep my car on their plan to lower my rate

No mods as of right now, i'm more worried about paying off the car itself and keeping it running.

Good job to those responsible people in this thread.

I busted my ass as a teenager and bought myself a (used) wrangler at 16 in cash. Started modding shortly after and paid for it all myself as well.

Now that it is time to move on to a more "mature" car (i'm 22), I bought my E46 cash a little while ago. So far, I've kept the "expensive" modding bug somewhat contained .
