I have t-mobile right now and it is miserable service in my area. My contract expires in April and I will be switching over to another carrier with better service. I prefer better service over a phone and what it can or can not do.

My father has the iPhone and he loves it, I have played with it and it is a fun thing to play with, but the service in our area for At&t is spotty at best, although it is better then T-mobile. My brother has a Blackberry with Verizon and his service is great in our area.
I have read about the droid here on this site (e46fanatics ftw and news) and went to check it out.

I am going to most likely get the Droid from Verizon it does what I want, plus it has great service. I see a win/win for me, if AT&T had better service here I would have gone with it, but they don't so Verizon wins. Of course I don't have to worry till April so I will let the Droid be out in the market for awhile so I will get to play with it.

OKAY... anyways... so is the droid good or not damnit? i like the iphone i just want a physical keyboard. droid good?

I am liking it and I think it is the way I am going to go. I also love the physical keyboard

phone comes out on fri so noone in the public can review it. however, someone from engadget reviewed it. bottom line....they love everything but the physical keyboard. i preordered mine at bb for my wife. gonna wait a bit for another droid 2.0 phone (htc passion) and see how that compares. i do want a physical keyboard tho.

trust me, you dont want a physical keyboard....iphone is the best phone to text on ever, it corrects your mistakes and its soooooo easy and quick to type on with very little effort. takes about a week to get used to.....
