anyone know how to remove the rondel on the trunk ? some bastards tried to rip it off

and failed and just scratched the crap out of it. So Im gonna go get another one from my dealership but Im a bit scared. Anyone got a good way of removing the rondel without scratching up the car at all ? Thanks !

i dont know if it is the same as debadging a car, but if it is i have heard you heat it up and then slowly move some dental floss behind it, just my guess

I'm surprised they failed in removing it, 'cause mine comes right off. There are 2 pegs behind the roundel at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. Pull the emblem straight out.
