Retrofitting factory HID's for non-HID equipped sedan?

An acquaintance I know is about to sell his HiD equipped E46 sedan. Mine was equipped was equipped without it - what parts would I need to yank off the E46 HiD equipped sedan in order to make it work on mine? Also, any special wiring I'd have to do or what not? Sorry if this question sounds redudent, thanks in advance though!

simple. just pop out your head lamp & pop in the new ones. I upgraded mine as well. the xenon ballast is integrated to the bottem on the head lamp, it's just plug & play. You won't have the auto leveling feature (who cares anyway) because the harness is tied into the rear suspension & would prob. cost in the thousands to retrofit. Just plug em in & enjoy. You will have to take the car back to BMW to have them set the comp. to "yes" instead of "no" for xenon lighting, otherwise your lights on the dash will light up due to less current draw of the xenon's letting the comp. think your "halogens" are burned out. (my bastard dealer charged me $75 for this, but what can you do) all that extra light.......
