Mtech II DIY EXPERIENCE

so i decided to buy all the parts and install it myself...along with my uncle...haha..

some thoughts:
first time doing this...i suggest you take out the old bumper with the re-bar...cus i separated the rebar and the old bumper first...having that said,...i killed alot of expanding screws...which i need to order new ones...

the new center duct that i bought seemed to be the same as the old one...but i used the new one anyways...

the right brake duct...DIDNT connect with one of the ventalation tubes that leads to the engine or something...WHICH i need to get/look into ASAP...

the left duct was fine...

the wheel liners didnt fit that well...there was still a little gap...which i need to look more into...

here are some pictures...

Could you elaborate more on the issue with the right air duct?

I gather this is a replica bumper?
And yes you didn't need to buy a new centre duct/shroud.

Looks Awesome Bro. I would Love to find an OEM M-tech ll Bumper painted Titanium Silver. Thats one of the nicest mods you can do to the sedan imo.

the driver side brake duct doesn't go to the hose that goes up. it' goes to the brakes.

the hose that goes up is to keep the alternator cool. it has nothing to do with the BRAKE duct.

Looks good. You should have painted the trim before intallation though.

He means the black unpainted, horizontal strip that is at the top of the bumper. Good job!

Nice

I have an mtech 2 bumper sittin in the corner waiting for spring to get painted and installed. I also have an '01 sedan. Were the fogs plug n play or did they require some wiring adjustments? Looks good. can't wait to get mine on.
