where to install hood pins

I have a 325i. looking for pics of where your hood pins are located. I searched but didn't find anything helpful. Thought this would be the best place to ask.

If you want to keep it you could just cut it down screw it back in. or if you cut it so that it does not screw in, then glue it in place?
