i have an 1998 e36 323is with 143,000 miles. few months ago my tranny broke and i replaced it with another one. my idle control valve and air temp sensor is messed up. when i drive my car on a cold start, the RPM shoots up when i barely give it some gas. after a while of driving it turns kinda back into normal. now the question is, is it my idle control valve? air temp sensor? or my tranny?
in the beginning of the video you can see the RPM shoot up but after it turns back into normal. during 1:30 you can see how high my RPM is. thanks guys!
