Nice ride sillie. How do you keep you headlight lenses so clean? My are pitted so bad that a restoration kit has no affect.

new headlights lol. i just have a bunch of fl coupe headlights so i swapped over to brand new ones.

You seem to be the facelift coupe headlight guru. Have you ever seen lenses sold separately. My search will continue until I find some.

i'll see if i have any not brand new lenses i can send your way lol. they don't sell it separately as they are sealed to the headlight housing. yea i get that a lot too. i swear i've worked on most of the fl coupes in socal at some point.

I still think it's a product that should be available. But I guess the fact that they were only used for 3 model years and the whole baking/heating issue would make the target market very limited. DEPO now has replacement headlights for facelift coupe/verts so that means there's at least one company that reproduces the lenses. I have no idea were DEPO sources them from but it would be nice to know. I've opened up my headlights a couple of times now as well as a few other members so that wouldn't be an issue.

Let me know if you have anything. If they are in better shape than mine, I can have them professionally refinished. Mine are pitted so bad that most of the material would have to be removed for refinishing.

DEPO makes their own lenses and everything. they don't source them. I still wouldn't see them producing it for the "normal" folk. they would not bake their headlights to replace their lenses. too dangerous, and i'm sure it would hold some liability issues for bmw (or AL).

All the cars are great, but the first one is just awesome. It looks so clean and stance really makes it look so aggressive. I am not a big fan of the eye lids, but overall I would take it in a heartbeat.
