Talking MINI REVIEW: F1 AutohaŘs | 18 LED License Plate Lights

Just got these in today. Ive been through about 3 or 4 different kind of led bulbs for my license plate lights, cause ive been looking for that perfect look and haven't been able to find it. Theyve had the led replacements (lens and everything) but they were only for the csl and newer e90s ....well finally F1 AutohaŘs pulled through with these. Direct fitment, no bulb out warnings, bright as fack, perfect color, good price. Can't go wrong. When installing if youve ever installed bigger bulbs and had to bend the prongs wider to accommodate the bulbs youll have to bend the prongs back in so theyll make contact with the positive and negative terminals on the back of the new lights. Well enough talk on to the pictures. NOTE: im not good at night photography yet so its hard for me to capture the leds in the original brightness, i took a couple pics at different exposures so just compare all the pictures and youll get the main idea. Also these were taken without a tripod (forgot it at home) so some are kinda blurry

So pumped

Labeled so you dont get them confused

I was curious how the back would look and work

My attempt to get a pic of the leds inside

CLOSE UP

farther different shutter speed

another shutter speed

and another

Super bright, light on the ground

Thanks for looking questions and comments welcome

Slight threadjack. I have LED reverse lights and they are dimmer than your license plate lights. Do you have any super-bright, hyper-white reverse LEDs?

This is what I have currently.

Me too! I wanna order! I want the ones that look similar but aren't quite as bright.. Can you post a link to such LEDs Mike? Also, I was hoping on finding interior LEDs (or Xenons) that are brighter than the stock oem interior bulbs. If such bulbs exist, please provide that link as well. Thanks.

Anyone know if there is a correct position for these license plate lights. I had mine pointing down and outwards a bit, and they did seem super bright, and then I tried letting them point down and inwards a little, and they were less bright. Wasn't sure which was the correct position. I suppose if I bend the prongs out a bit, they may be able to point straight down, so that the flat rectangular backing was parallel to the ground..

uh, easier said than done, they don't seem to want to point straight down. I don't think the lens will allow them too. Doesn't really matter though. Guess they're a bit brighter than I'd thought they'd be, but I can't quite say I don't like em. Mine look like the second photo down (see photos of rear of car pictured in the original post.)
