think i'm gonna replace mine soon. just worked out how the preloading works for the OEM bushings. wanna get that done so i can put in coilovers, some new rear tires, and a proper alignment.
are adjustable lower control arms a must if you're lowering your car? i mean, if i have neutral toe on the rear, i shouldn't get excessive wear, should i? eric, your sit's really low, with heaps of camber, and you don't have wear problems do you? i just wanna have my car sit like M3GTRs, so i shouldn't have too much trouble, should i?

without using a hacksaw?
![]() @M3GTR, yeh i'm not worried abuot rubbing, my wheels aren't wide enough. more worried about excessive inside tread wear. already got a fair now...think it's coz my RTABs are shot. and my old alignment was crap.

mmm yeh, but to dial out the extra neg camber i'd have to get some adjustable lower control arms, or ghetto-mod my existing ones...

ghetto mod, then c/f wrap ur existing ones!!!!
ive never looked into getting rid of the neg camber on my rear as its always been needed to fit rims/ tyres in the guards. im in black rock - its south east/ bayside (lots of ppl dont know where it is lol)

yeh, i was thinking about going powerflex/UUC (easier to install too!), but i'd rather just have higher density rubber, does anyone make them? apparently the urethane ones are too hard for street use (and i really don't wanna have to replace other suspension bushings coz of the extra stresses), plus i'd get so pissed off if they started squeaking.
otherwise you can get the limiters (i think vorschlag make some), but tbh, i'd be happy just returning my car to new stock bushings (lemfoerder i think). cheap enough that i won't be annoyed if they don't last that long.

I've heard that the urathane ones tend to squeak & make a lot of noise, my mechanic also advised me to steer clear of them for that reason.
