No but all bs aside, we need to do something with the freaking deer man. I don't know how it is elsewhere but we have a lot alot of deer up and down 85. Where i lived in georgia I ran over possums ,armadillo, a bunch of skunk, and I remember one time I hit a gator in the road. Those won't do anything to your car but deer man we lay out some serious damage the thing about deer is that they will stand in the middle of the f'ing road and stare like your in its way, I wish hunting season can be last a bit longer so we can get bambi out of the road and in the oven.

My E36 is Avus Blue and the E46 is Jet Black. I work in Concord so I usually don't spend to much time on 77. Charlotte traffic annoys me so I try and stay away.

And the only Mods I've done is a Dinan CAI on the E36.. hopefully more to come

right now, it's just the pic from when i bought the car.



the only thing i'm unhappy about is the HK sound system. not enough clarity for my taste. so the sound system will be first on the chopping block. not sure what i'm going to do yet. tinted windows will be next. i want an M3 trunk lip also. new wheels eventually as there's some curb rash on these.

The soudn of the HK is not too bad...but not as good as they claim to be...
you seem to have a good "to do list" so far, perhaps do the tint and get some clears all around first? also, there's a DIY on how to fix curbed wheels maybe you can refinish them a diff color and hold off on buying a new set to save you some cash? i love those wheels though, but i love my ZHP wheels more

anybody knows of any salvage yards that have any 02+ sedans?

It looks good. Congrats on the purchase. How much are you looking to spend on new audio? Bavarian Soundwerks (BSW) sells a Stage 1 kit that replaces all of the speakers, except the sub, it's sold separately. It is a direct replacement with the same connections that are used on the factory speakers. It's a little pricey, $600, but that's just the cost of convenience. Of course, you can always go the traditional route and buy everything separately and rewire the current wiring harnesses. In addition, some people run into mounting problems with aftermarket setups, so make sure you fully search what you want to do.

in my civic, i had Infinity components up front and the mids and highs were so crystal clear. i've got the treble turned all the way up, and the highs still seem muddy to me. if i turn the bass up to the point i want, then the mids and highs get too muddy. i have to turn the bass down to about half way below the mid point to where the mids and highs are clear enough. then there's no bass. also, every now and then, the mids up front will get horribly distorted like they're getting too much bass. it's as if a high pass filter turned off. it's not speed related. it's not from bumps. sometimes simply changing the station will clear it up. so i don't know if its the amp or the HU. at any rate, i'm thinking of doing a pair of JL Audio 6W3 subs on the sides of the trunk with a bass knob up front. that way i can adjust the subs separate from the rest of the speakers. if the HU or amp is dying, i might just look at doing aftermarket for everything.
