if people can stand a 3.38/3.46 with a 5 speed, i see no reason why you can't enjoy a 3.62 with a 6 speed

you are going to absolutely love it...

I just did this mod for a "customer" last weekend. Took me 4 hours total, working by myself with air tools on the floor of my garage. It was the first time I had ever done it and it isn't hard. The hard part working on the floor by yourself is getting the new diff back in place, heavy! Best mod he ever did and his 330 5 speed is a BEAST!

do i need anything else besides the new diff to do the install?

how much would it cost for a shop to install new differentials??

Yes, no more than 2.5 hrs labor for R&R the pumpkin. Another hour for a qualified technician to install a LSD into the pumpkin. $200-$400 for a used pumkin, but $1100-$2200 for a LSD.

nope... however you might have to knock out the output flanges.... this is where the axle bolts in.... there are 6 bolts, however the pattern might be different

if that is the case, get a mallet and just knock them out, should take a good minute of whacking

time wise, it really shouldn't take more than an hour, start to finish (since they have a lift and air tools)

honestly you guys have no idea how easy this is with the right tools and a lift

but a shop will easily charge a couple hundred bucks for the install... no doubt
