Damn, that's right in my area too, but there's only about a 40% chance I'll have the car up and running by next Saturday.

i finally got my car back...needs some serious wash, clay, wax action.

I'm looking for everyones opinion on this...I just purchased the stained glass paint that focal mentioned. I wanna paint my highbeams yellow and my fogs yellow...should I or should I not.

how hard is it to get a second set of headlights for a 7 are they easy to find used? the only way I would do it on my car is if I had an extra set of high beam buckets and could swap them out if I hated it/got tired of it.

Gents, the days of McPherson struts are numbered. Apparently the F01/2 7 series and current X5/6 have this double wishbones too.
I'm looking at some nice pics of the F10 5er and I must say, I'm impressed. Its very attractive and thinterior is too. They're saying it didn't grow too much either. Longer wheelbase, but just about the same length as the E60, but wider and not as tall, so drag coefficent stays the same, and weight almost the same too, thru the use of aluminium alloy trunk, hood, doors, fenders and suspension.

Looks like the 5 will still be full of win.

Fack, it has the fiberoptic com setup like the 7. Available brake energy regeneration, electric PS, 8 speed auto all in the name of effecient dynamics, and it has basically all the chassis and handling aids that are available to the current 7. Things like rear wheel steer, active suspension, stop and go cruise control, and enough **** to wipe your ass. This thing is no joke.

maan that is one ugly azz car. saw one at the stealership the other day. toooo wide and ugly in the front for a 5 series. The regular 5 series like the e60 is round with beautiful headlights(lovely rear lights, and overrall design)...this one is hideous. The back is even worse it looks like a damn hyundai santa fe hatch.
bmw deserves it...they screwed up once again. The new 7 series looks ridiculous also. Front is agressive...but the rear looks like they got tired of designing the car and just left it unfinished.

Yeah the new 5 is nice, there is a good review of the 5-wagon in the new roundel.
