Advice For Toyo Versado LX Tire Option for 330i ZHP?

I have a 330i ZHP and was thinking about going with Toyo's Touring Tire Versado LX. On front I would have to go with a 235/40R 18 95 Y XL and in Rear the closest is a 255/45R 18 103 V XL. The OEM sizes are Front are 225/40 ZR 18 and Rear 255/35 ZR 18. I was thinking about Michelin's PS2's but for over $1200 and very short tread life..... I am leaning against it. Also, how do you think the Toyo Versados LX will preform? I do not track my car/auto-cross. Do you still feel that the Toyo Versado LX tires will perform well? Also.....how do you think the Toyo Versados LX tires Front: 235/40R 18's and the Rear: 255/45R 18's will effect my car?....Any speedometor issues with this set up? Also, should the tires be able to fit my stock ZHP wheel?Any input would be greatly appeciated. Thanks

That rear tire is 2 inches taller than factory, it will be way off. The versado is a great touring tire, but not going to be the best for performance, especially if you are comparing to PS2's. There are plenty of tires in between the two available in stock or similar sizes.

Unfortunately the 255/45/18 will not work on the car. They will be extremely tall and most likely rub going straight. You'll need a 255/35/18 for a proper fitment.

Thank You....any good Tire sugestions that wont break the bank. I know Michelin PS2 are the Best...but for over $1200 and poor tread life...that can start to get very expensive.

Like I said before you are comparing one extreme to another, the toyo versado is a great touring tire so: smooth ride, good mileage and good in snow. The PS2 is a max performance summer tire, so why not pick something in the middle? The general exclaim is a good tire for the money, toyo has the new extensa HP which is a high performance all season.

I have the toyos currently on my audi s4 and on the wifes honda crv, they are a nice tire. traction is fine if your not autocrossing or tracking. I have about 40k on them so far and still have about 50% tread left. quiet ride not harsh, i would personally recommend them above just about any other tire ive had for a daily driver( and trust me ive run many different tires). If you were tracking the car i would suggest something different but for a dailt driver toyos are hard to beat.

i would also look into Nitto Neo Gens. they are a a/s performance type tire that perform fairly well have decent tread life and a good price.

I am leaning towards the Michelin Sport A/S Plus Tire. It seems like a good over-all performer and believe this tire will meet my needs. I dont track my car and rain is always a factor. The other tire that cought my attention was the Nitto Invo...which seems like a good performer. Any opions on the Michelin Sport A/S Plus or Nitto Invo tires? The Michelin Sport seems to have a better Tread life compared to the Nitto Invo. But the Nitto Invo is supposed to be a Very Quiet tire which I like very much. In the end I think Tread life is a little more important and Michelins I dont belive are very loud anyway. Does anyone have any objections with the Michelin Sport A/S Plus Tire.

go with the michelin pilot sports and don't drive gnarly so much.. they'll go 30k all day. Its almost as if our car was designed from the michelin pilot sport up. For all season situations save up and get a beater Jeep like I did. I get a good two summers out of mine w/ very aggressive driving and some course work.
