325i sedan, Eibach Pro Springs, 255/30/19 to 255/35/19 ?
Im running Kumho Ecsta SPT 255/30/19's on the rear. I need new rears and I'm thinking of switching to Continental Extreme Contacts DWS size 255/35/19 but Im wondering how much more the sidewall is going to push and how it will affect rubbing? Anybody changed to that size? Anybody have experience with these ties? I really am tired of running such a thin tire (30's) and would like to bump up to (35's) .... please input your .02
TIA Front is running 235/35/19. I have V710's staggered |

The 35 series will definitely cause some rubbing issues during compression, full cabin, or going over large bumps. I would recommend staying with the 30.

If you are thinking about running a 265, this size is extremely wide for a Sedan. What widths and offsets are you going to be running?

Anyone? I can order a 255 30 19 for the rear if that gives me more clearance....I'll be running an Eibach pro kit too

255/30/19 Will definitely clear. Ive ran Kumho Ecsta Spt's 255/30/19 and really had no rubbing issues. 265's 30 or 35 will rub however, i'd like to hear about 255/35/19's (+.5") because I'm tempted to run that size. Im ordering today (I have a busted tire) so Im pretty much out of time ...

With the right alignment you won't have any issues at all with a 265/30/19 on a Pro-Kit since that drop isn't extreme. ET45 has worked on numerous sedans without rubbing issues, but for some others it has rubbed.

I did have 18 x 8 ET35 with 255 35 18 on the rear before and didn't rub at all. How would the 265 30 19 ET45 compare? Thanks for the input.

I have an Eibach Pro Kit already on. Ive been running the above mentioned Kumho specs on the Pro Kit. going anything bigger on the rear seems like it might rub but at the same time i think its borderline to where I might pull it off with 265's or 35 series 255's

How about 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 ... Is that a noticeable difference to what it "looks" like now? will it look or be stretched some? or is that still within range for them to look normal? anybody have pics of those sizes on 19's staggered?
edit: found this thread with some info http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...ight=245+35+19 anybody else have more input? pics?

I would recommend you go with the 255 rear. It will allow you more room to work with if you decide to go with other tire manufacturers that have slightly wider tires. If you plan on going with a 255 rear, 235 front would also work.
