FS: Ground Control/Koni "Street" Coilover setup
I'm selling my street setup because I moved up to a custom valved, higher spring-rate setup. This setup only has between 7,500 - 8,000 miles on it. I don't drive my car year-round and I've driven it once since November. I've been traveling for work and haven't driven it much before that. I'm leaving for Japan March 15th so keep in mind for buyers if you are interested payments need to clear before I can ship and I will not be available to ship after March 10th. I'm willing to sell it as a "kit" or part it out depending on what interest comes about. Details and pics below:
- (1) 8741-1438LSPORT Koni front-left strut - (1) 8741-1438RSPORT Koni front-right strut - (2) 8240-1203SPORT Koni rear shocks - (2) Urethane Upper-rear shock mounts *currently installed on rear shocks* - (2) 440# Ground-Control/Eibach springs part#: GC150.64.77 - (2) 550# Ground-Control/Eibach springs part#: GC165.64.96 - (2) Rear ride height adjusters - (2) Rear upper spring perches *brand new/never installed* - (2) Rear control arm reinforcement plates (sit under height adjusters) - (2) Front upper spring perch bearings - (2) hacked up front ride height adjusters *see link below The reason the front adjusters are "hacked up" is due to this: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=256942 I included the original link from when I installed and re-adjusted the height. I also have some pics of the final ride height. If someone is interested in everything or just the front setup, keep in mind you are set at 13.5" in the front where I had the adjusters set too. You will NOT be able to adjust that height. The rears are in great shape and can adjust to wherever you want. I recommend using CRC DRY MOLY LUBE on the threads of ANY coilover adjuster. If you don't have this and want me to spray before shipping, I can. This suspension is in excellent shape and rides great. It rides much nicer than stock and better than the stiff suspension I've moved on too. YES there are some knicks and scratches on the shocks and springs and paint chips. In my opinion the shocks/struts have a pretty shitty paint job on them, they flake very easily. I'm not withholding anything and I can provide any additional photos or up-close shots the best I can with my 4 yr old point-n-shoot camera. The only reason for selling is moving up to a more "race" style setup. Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To go lower in the front you would need these:

They fit non-m's if you use m3 top hats or camber plates for your car. Sale pending.
