I have a B&M short shifter(race version) like the pros use! It is a lot shorter throw than stock, feels good and easy to install.
I see a lot of UUC shift kits on peoples mods list around here.

ssk are way over priced and way over rated. 500 bucks for 40% throw reduction... i bought a cheap ssk (lever) from megan racing on HPF. you won't feel 500 bucks different minus your pants being light trust me. just my 2 cents

- At the top where the knob goes, is it a threaded or is it grooved as for a stock knob to fit over it? - Also, what does it include? Is it just the lever or does it also have the bushings for the pivot ball? - Does the knob sit any lower? Thanks for the help! My mouse is hovering over the Order Button NOTE- Quite interesting how on the HPF site, if you search Shifters by Car Make and Model (BMW 328i for me), only the UUC $355 unit comes up. But if you search by brand (Megan Racing) and look at the applications for their Shifter Kits... HELLO!!!! "(96-00) BMW 328 includes i,Ci,is $45.00 " . Good research xixixi

Theres a thread on here that goes into the different lengths of the stock shifters. I got mine from a E60 545 with a ZHP weighted knob, and i love it.
