Seafoam experiences please.

my 2000 323i has 172500 and im thinking of seafoaming it, car runs great just like to be on top of things. ive read alot about people really liking the results and have read that some noticed no difference. ive heard from a mechanic freind of mine that it cleans out your engine so well that some deposits that were holding it from any leaking can be cleaned out so it could cause leaks? id just like to hear for some of yall to how your experience went.. thanks felllas

a lot of people have a lot of successs with this. just make sure you use it in all 3 areas. plan on doing it this summer a few days before oil change.

all three areas?? i have seen videos that a guy made where he just added it to the brake booster vacum hose.. what 3 areas please? and i am planning on doing an oil change very soon so this is on my high considerations list for right now.. thanks

Used it with great success

3 areas:

1. Vacuum tube
2. Gas tank
3. Seafoam sells an aerosol that you spray past the maf into the intake/throttlebody area

Used it in the vacumm hose and it was hilarious!!! Sooo much smoke!!! and then in the oil and gas tank for a good clean job prior to an oil change. Great Success!!

im stoked to do this before my next oil change/spark plug change. any recomendations on where to get oil online for cheap? and what kind of plugs are yall using and likeing and where do i order em?=)

I've used it in 4 areas:
1. pour 9 oz in the crankcase and drive up to 100mi before an oil change as a sludge cleanse
2. funnel 1/3 of a can into the vacuum line to clean intake
3. add 1/3 of a can to gas tank as a fuel line and fuel rail and injector clean
4. I was getting low secondary air codes so I uncoupled the tube between the secondary air pump and the exhaust ports, filled the tube with Seafoam and had the pump blow Seafoam through the exhaust ports (only possible with a cold engine). Cleared the secondary air codes.
I rarely get any code, if I do I clear it with the Peake and it doesn't return. Car performs very well.

LOL I had to repeat step 4 about 7 times, BMW heaven is carbon build-up free.
