OEM drink holder in rear seat mod

OK, so the Delmarco's DIY putting an OEM drink holder into the armrest mod was great and got me thinking. What if you want to have a place to put your drinks but dont want to have the armrest down? With the armrest mod, you are SOL....So I thought, why not just put the cup holder into the rear seat itself?? The results speak for themselves:

Heck, this mod turned out so well I might go all out and put a holder in the rear armrest too

but then that might be overkill. I'll let someone else do that so I can see how it looks....

dope, thats even better considering the fact that coupes cant really do the arm rest mod

is there a diy for cars with ski pass/entry behind the armrest...i never got why a bmw sedan with winter package doesnt come with cup holders...

I just wanted a little contrast. If I get tired of grey or want to go with the stealth look, I'll just spray it black....

Not that I know of, but you can just modify the DIY that I have linked in the first post at the bottom. This mod that I did would be perfect for you guys with ski passes and want rear cup holders!

Looks great! It looks so much cleaner and more "OEM" than delmarco's cup holder mod. Personally I would have done black instead of gray, but to each his own.
