headers

so im curious. these guys claim that their headers dont throw the CEL light.. anyone have these??? let me know.. could be a great discovery!!!!!!!!!

There is no way around it, it doesn't matter if your headers cost 1, or 10,000 dollars, it is the lack of catalytic converters that throws the CEL.

the seller claims that he's been selling them for 5 years, and that he has never had issues.. that if they do throw the cel light, he'll honor a refund.. hmmm.. interesting

Th reason you get the CEL is because the O2 sensors realize there is no catalytic converters. These headers have no cats so they WILL throw a code... Simple as that.

He's claiming that because they have built-in non-foulers. Crappy guarantee, though, as they sure didn't work on my car.

you know the non foulers didnt work on my car at first either.
Then i did my vanos seals. i cleaned my CEL light, and since then it hasn't come back..
