ok so this is what ive been wondering about for a long time. djenker, how is your ride quality with the spring in there? going from nonsport to current, is it really harsh over lane markers? and can someone tell me how long the stock coilovers should last vs the aftermarket springs and stock struts setup? i heard you should really only do 1/2 i drop with the stock struts? sorry im not trying to thread jack but i dont think its worth another thread like this

My Ride: E53 3,0 Diesel 254HP
So, before h&r race, I had some FK Automotive springs. They were 40/40, but finally rear went down at least 50-60 and front not more than 40 - it looked bad...
Now it sits as you see. I know that I should not go so low on non- sport suspension, but now it's a matter of look and my budget. To be honest both spring sets I mentioned are comfortable, a little bouncy on really weak roads, all in all is not that bad. Next step should be coilovers
