Thanks guys, yeh I'd always liked the look of the 230's, seen them on quite a few 335i's. Also forgot to mention had it lowered aswell, 20mm at rear 25mm at front.
M-tech front bumper and M3 mirrors are next on the list. Maybe a swaybar kit aswell to stiffen it up abit. Cheers, Karl |

I too dig those wheels.
![]() At the risk of causing forehead slapping and loud groans, I need to ask about Mtech2 brake duct part numbers. I've searched till my eyes are sore and have been unable to come up with concrete information on what is required. I sent a request to the guys at getbmwparts.com and they don't know, the guy said they just go off of the parts diagram. So let me run this past you guys. To change from a stock 2002 bumper to an Mtech2 you need: Bumper support brackets for a pre-face lift car. Left 51117895415 $4.45 Right 51117895416 $4.45 Center Air Duct 5171789421 $47.42 Right brake duct 51717894700 $47.42 And here's where it gets sketchy... There are two left ducts shown. I assume one has the elusive "alternator cooling tube" and one does not. The part numbers are (as labeled on the parts diagram): Front Left 51717894701 $47.42 Left 51717894699 $47.42 Through all of my searching, I believe I have determined that the 701 has the alternator tube, and the 699 does not. Don't have proof of this though. IF one actually FINDS the reclusive and thought by some to be extinct brake duct with alternator cooling tube, extensive searching has revealed that one also needs to purchase the following part which would appear to connect the alternator cooling tube to the "Air Channel Upper": Air Channel Lower 12317503969 Can anyone confirm or deny the validity of these assumptions? Thanks ![]() Kurt |

Great colour, beautiful detailing. What would really make this car a head turner, is an M-tech front bumper. Then it'd be an epic touring

Maybe this is a little early to get excited, but I am taking a (second) look at this car this weekend and it will hopefully be coming home with me! I have to find a new mechanic to look at it since the first one I planned to use is booked 3 weeks out!
I hate sand interior with a passion, but I just can't find what I want so I'm settling... ![]() ![]() |

This is interesting, the Umnitza LED tail lights I just received look nothing like the ones on their web site. On the ones I have, the lens on the piece for the liftgate is completely clear, and the tail-light lens itself is completely clear except for a horizontal strip of red along the bottom that is maybe 1.25 inches tall. I'm not sure I like it and not sure I don't. Have to see what it looks like on the car I guess. Interesting.

Reading the March Roundel (bmw cca magazine) in a section talking about 2010 BMW models/pricing, they listed a 335 wagon
anyone else hear anything in regards to this? it also listed the regular 328i/xi but it did list a 335 wagon as a 2010 model.
