Parts question...NEED help ASAP!

I just took my car into the shop yesterday because it was idling very roughly, losing coolant, and making a clanking noise. At the shop, they told me that my intake was cracked, water pump was leaking, and the tensioner on the AC compressor was making the clanking noise. They want to replace all of these parts. With parts and labor and the guy "doing his best" for me, he's estimating $2,125 as the rock bottom lowest price. He said that the intake is only available through BMW and is over $1000, making up the bulk of the cost. Could someone PLEASE let me know if I am getting hosed here? Is there another way to get an intake than just through BMW? Please advise today because I need to give him an answer before 11am EST. Thanks!
