Stock AMP went out! HOW?

ok so basically i was following a diy thread on installing aftermarket subs and amp, to my non HK setup, ok i started off by splicing the LOC into the wires right before the amp, after i got done with that i checked to see if everything still worked and now im completely without sound! i took the amp and subs out and took out the LOC and tried going back to stock but i still have the same problem and i do not know what to do can anyone help me!? i have no sound what so ever, and i dont want to buy parts if i dont need to, any help would be much appreciated! thanks
