interesting feeling

ok ill make this short, I have had this gf for a year, First off it was fantastic. about 10 months in and the starting of her in a new job as the top tier in some management firm. i noticed she became a complete *****. So long story short I have had enough! Now the catch 22 was she is a great mates sister. So if I was to dump her would lose a good mate. So i tried to ween her off me so to speak. Not in a mean way but just kind of made it clear it wasn't going anywhere. So yesterday she broke up with me. now its what i wanted to happen but now it has I feel kind of bummed. I know it was a dick move but has anyone else had this happen.

i did the exact same thing yesterday for my girl. i was going to dump her in june, but i guess i weened her off me too efficiently.

is it bad that im not even upset? sometimes i feel like my heart is cold and dead

I am in the same kinda situation, I dunno what is happening, maybe I am becoming cold, but all the explosive stuff is not in me any more...

I've been in n out of 4 relationships n I am only 25... Did I overexhaust my ability 2 care 4 some1?..

yea im 25 too. i dunno how i feel about this. i was pretty hurt when my first girl dumped me. this girl i broke up with yesterday was probably, overall, the best girl ive ever known. i just hated being tied down too much

so far, i havent been the least bit upset about this at all.

I've gone through the same feeling. It's weird. Sometimes, thing will happen exactly as they should, but you still wonder...

Preface - I'm 34 y/o so take it for what you will

I have been married twice and my last marriage I was infatuated at first with my now ex wife. I am currently seeing another woman and it's weird I don't have that infatuation I once did but I have realized something as I have gotten older. I think building a relationship slowly without the BOOM, BANG, POW! is not necessarily a bad thing. My relationship with this new girl is way more stable and evenly balanced because of the slow growth.

This thread just made me think back to a few months ago as I was thinking "why am I not head over heels in this relationship?" After much reading and evaluation I've decided that it's better not to be and to start gradually growing those feelings

Im with you guys on the heartless Idea. Ive gone over one year like this and guess what? Im doing GGGRRRRREAT! it just mkes life easier for some reason, and I'm only 23 so its not like falling for someone is on my list.

im 44, ive found as life goes on and that pile of sour grapes becomes bigger you tend to not put as much into it or get in too deep, its just human nature.................the rotten women really do ruin it for the good ones in an odd way
