Picking up a Valentine V1....

So i'm picking this up tomorrow and was wondering if the version of the radar detector is significant? I ran a serial check and it's the best in house update. Is there any way of validating whether this unit works without having to drive around the city? Thanks in advance.

In addition to that, if you get the 312,313,326 and the 864 it will most likely need to be sent in for a tune up. For a quick test, set it to a mode, just hold down the mute button when it's on and keep pressing till you see a. take a small drive with it and see if all of the bands come up. to test laser just to see if it's working put it in front of your radio, it should go off.

Remember, you can call Valentine and ask for a returned unit, not refurbished, and it should be abound 360 for it plus shipping.

If it is 3.872 I wouldn't pay over 350 for it with ALL of the accessories.
