Gold/valuables (figuring cash wont be worth shi*)
Tact. vest with heavy body armor
Ammunition
Rifles with 4th generation ATN Thermal Nightvision/Acog/Eotech (optic for all occasions)
Binoculars
Sleeping bag
2 way radios
SAT phone (landlines and cells will be down)

Etc....

Water filtration kit and purification tablets are all that I need. Living where I do in Florida, there is ample fresh water!

That's a good price provided the kits are in good condition. Coverage for all 4 seasons. I've been looking for something like that since here in NY we have a real winter and a real summer to deal with.

Oh sweet Lord almighty...he's talking about Col. Grossman. He goes into a discussion of the Sheepdog concept, and he has no idea what he's talking about...
What's ironic is that in another video, he's hanging out with a guy who occasionally rides with the Hells Angels, who are the "wolves". Words cannot adequately express how much this guy is a numb-nuts.

hes got a lot of good table-top gun reviews which is what i primarily watch. some of those "run-and-gun" situations are good to watch to see how they set up courses and build stress for tension shooting. whenever he gets into philosophy though, i just turn it off

Yeah, the run and gun stuff isn't too bad. I have a hard time watching it and not pointing out all the errors, but with some of that stuff he's on the right track. It's just obvious that he's not going off of real-world experience/combat training. The philosophy stuff is just terrible, though.
He's a lot like the MilSpecMonkey - Trying hard, giving out decent product information, but impossible not to laugh at them.

I am doing three Pelican 1600s + for my SHTF situation.

Pelicans are crush proof, water proof, lockable, and float.

These are for throwing in the Suburban and hitting the gas.

Case 1 - Weapons
Case 2 - Normal Survival Stuff (First Aid, Food, etc)
Case 3 - Luxury Emergency Stuff (Clothes, Cat Supplies, More Food, etc)


Below is case 1. (2 and 3 in the works)

I decided to simplify it and shrink it down. My original was a Pelican 1650 (huge) with every handgun I own.

This one has:

(1) Glock 19 with Trijicon Night Sights (9mm)
(2) Glock 19s with Standard Sights (9mm)
(1) Glock 26 (9mm)
(1) Ruger SP101 (.357)

(4) Glock OEM 33rd Mags
(5) Glock OEM 17rd Mags
(6) Magpul PMag 30rd AR15 Mags

(500) 9mm rounds - hollowpoint
(500) 9mm rounds - FMJ
(500) .223/5.56 rounds
(200) 7.62x39 rounds
(100) .38 Special - hollowpoint

(30) Wiretie handcuffs
(2) Maglight Mini LED flashlights
(1) Glock OEM GTL21 light/laser
(1) Glock Field Survival Knife
(1) S&W Police Handcuffs

The idea is that everything stays in it except for the guns. All the semi autos use the same round and magazines and the .357 (for her) uses .38 which is the same as my pocket gun that I always carry.

Pretty simple for her too...throw all the glocks and your gun in the case. The foam is cut identical for all 5 guns so it doesnt even matter how they are put in the case.

Grab the cases, the rifles, and the cats and get in the truck...

My 1650 was my doubler, that clear case in the middle with the dividers x 2 plus every handgun I own.

The idea was to put my defense ammo in there when stored then swap out the two boxes with range ammo.

The 1650 has wheels also so I think I will keep it as the range monster.



I may downsize/upgrade them all to the 1510 (little smaller with wheels)
