Looks like these are all links to the same event that I am going to. Where do you guys want to meet? Is everyone going to take 40/64 west then to 70 or is there some that will take 70 all the way?

If we have a couple taking 70 and some taking 40/64 then we should meet in Wentzville. There is a big gas station as soon as you exit Wentzville.

If everyone is taking 40/64 to 70 then we should meet somewhere on 40. Anyone know of a good commuter lot or gas station? Let's throw out a couple of ideas so we can decide.

i'm in o'fallon so it doesn't matter to me wentzville, lake st louis where ever. I think we should meet on 70 after 40 runs into it. so wentzille is my vote we can all meet here and roll out.

Unless anyone else has a better idea we can all meet at Wentzville exit 208 at the Walmart. I'll post maps once we all agree on the location.

STLSOLO is having another event on APRIL 18 at Gatway International Raceway. I am going to go with my friends again and if anyone is interested in going let me know.

Cost is around 30-45 dollars to drive your car through the track of cones. We can meet and talk about the CoMo meet too.

i'm in if i don't have to work, Ranken Tech is having a car show this day also i just remember and it's only 50 bucks for 3 runs on the dyno i might just have to go dyno the car instead however i will check times and see if i can do both here is the link for the car show/dyno runs http://rankentechnicalcollege.typepa...i-reunion.html it starts at 10 ends at 4:30 i'll get the details about when the dyno starts/ends on tuesday and see if i can swing both what time does the auto X start??

Once you guys get to CoMo, it looks like there is going to be a group of us meeting around 12:30 at a ice cream place about a mile away from the meet so we can all get spots next to each other at the meet (the lot of the frozen custard place allows for slammed cars). I personally am going to be hitting up the Imos buffet right next to the ice cream place around 11:45-noonish (905 Safari Drive, 65202). I will keep you all posted if this changes. I am trying to look on here, bimmerforums, stlbmwcca, and the m3 forum (way too many places to keep track of) --but you should all check w/ them too there looks to be another caravan coming from stl.

edit: 12:15 at Jason's Frozen Custard (911 Rain Forest Pkwy, 65202).

we need to all get together and hammer this stuff out whatever it takes. 12:15 in CoMo would mean we would roughly need to leave wentzville by 10:45 at the latest.... thanks for the heads up i'm gonna check the other forums today

Ranken doesn't have an awd dyno so I'm in for this, if work allows.

Hope you can make it, it's pretty fun. It starts at 8:30 I think, so you have to be there a little bit before 8 to register and have your car checked out. My car past pretty easily, they just make sure everything is strapped down and all lug nuts are there. Bring or borrow a helmet if you got one, they have loaners but those get loaned out pretty fast.

That sounds like a plan. Meet at Wentzville at 10:30am and leave at 10:45am. So far we only have 3 from this subforum, there will be a couple more from the supra forums that will meet us there. Anyone else joining us?

It was pretty basic, checked if you had all the lugnuts on, car battery is secured, no loose items in the trunk, nothing hanging off or the car, etc.

Pat, since you have a lot of experience with coilovers, what do you think of the FK Sport Edition Plus Coilovers with external adjustments? I was thinking of going with Eibach prokits with FSD but these coilovers are on sale and cheaper than the springs. I've read these aren't too harsh and on the softest settings it is similar to the factory sport package. I am really eyeing these because of the sale, any thoughts?

Shoot... sorry I missed this. How much are they going for? I'm not familiar with this particular brand do you have a link to them?

External adjustments are good. My new coils have them and I have them set to the stiffest (but will fine tune on the weekend). Install is a breeze too. I just installed my old coils on a friend's can this weekend.

Do we have any tracks around here??? Where is the nearest BMW track day event???
