yeah i know another tyre & rim question, sorry. Founds these rims on fleabay and was wanting to know what "range" of tyre sizes i could fit specifically widths. I've my car lowered on H&R Cup Comfort kit, so basically about the sport ride height. Rims are 18 inch, 7.5J and ET40
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT Done a bit of reading and the i think the widest i could go is 245?? ![]() I would have hoped to run a staggered set up to begin with 215/225 & 245, so it looks good, but eventually when this is my 2nd car and i "slowly" turn it into a track car would probably run 235 all round. And with them being only 7.5J they should be reasonably light (although i will check with the seller)

225/40/18 is the best size, you could run a 235/40/18 without issue.

Thats a shame! 225 i think would not look good at the back, nor give the levels of grip required on track where i think the recommended set up is 235 all round. Thanks for the info anyway. Least i know what to loofk for now. So i presume for a 8" wheel the widest tyre would be a 245?

8" would be the narrowest width on a 245/35/18. -Charles@VMRWheels
