Wheels rubbing (inner fender, not lip)
After I put my 19's on I noticed under heavy loads (one or more passengers) over dips and under hard acceleration I noticed rubbing coming from the rear of my car. My fenders have been rolled so I didn't know why it was rubbing. Anyways when I checked it out I realized it was rubbing deeper into the wheel well, not the fender lip. What are my options for fixing this. The only thing I can come up with is either bigger bumpstops or get a stiffer suspension (dampening adjustable). I'm running stock bumpstops that are modified for lower suspension. Any other pointers?

So the tire is rubbing on the inner wheel well? Any pics? What size tire are you running?

OP, i have the same issue even after I cut my fender lips off. it rubs above where the lip is, not where the lip used to be.

Did that diy before 4ngiefest. Worked like a charm! Two passengers hard driving and zero rubbing. And all for five bucks! Right now I'm running 9.5 inch rears et45 with 255s. I ll be putting on 10mm spacers whenever they finally come in

I think its rubbing where the rear bumper meets the quarter panel.. thats what mine did and it eventually shaved the inner part off and runs just fine now

It was rubbing the top of the wheel well under hard acceleration and under heavy load, the bumpstop DIY fixed the problem.

Ride comfort has not changed. I have not noticed when the shock would bottom out on the new bumpstop. They are rubber but there is still some forgiveness in them which helps.
