What tires do I need to lower my car (19x9.5) (et22)

I currently have 265/30/19 and thats why I'm rubbing although I wanna lower my car on coils or h&r race or sport. Would 235 25 19s work or what or do I just need new wheels in order for me to lower it
Thanks in advance!

There is a link to a thread that might help you out as far as tire size and ride height. I see you are from Albany, are they still meeting up at Kohls?

It depends how much you wanna stretch. the fronts are gonna be the biggest problem. 9.5 is already pretty wide and the offset doesn't help. You'll need to run a pretty small tire on the front and it could look funny if you have more stretch in the front then the rear. I'm running 225/40 on a 9.5 right now and thats a good stretch. You'll probably need at least a 235/35 since you're running 19's. Basically comes down to how much effort you want to put in.

edit: are you just talking about rears? if so what are the specs on the fronts.

p.s. move to tire section! lol
