Angel Eyes Wiring Help

Hello. I've done a good amount of searching and can't seem to find what I need. Trying to install CCFL AE's and I want it very simple. I want them on when the ignition is on and off when the car is off. Don't need or want the remote wiring. I need to find a positive and negative source around the lights. It thought about the DRL's but when I turn the lights on, the DRL's turn off so that won't help. This is for a 2000 323ci. Any ideas on what wires to look for? Thanks.

If it was me I would not do this. I would put in a dedicated circuit with a relay.

Unfortunately, the relay didn't come with the package. I suppose I could pick that up at Radio Shack. Anyone have a link to a good install for that kind of wiring?

Try Bimmian.com for a typical AE install. I think FastX also has one. You will want to tie in to power and ground in the "drug bin".

I'll just get the wiring harness on ebay to keep it simple. Thanks for your help.

Harness should be $15 to $20. Umnitza.com has them. You might want to buy the harness from the vendor who sold the AE's so that the connections are plug and play.

We can sell you the harness separately to make it work. I agree that a relay based wiring harness with a fuse is the safest way.
