pics of the progress on the change to the car....
here are some pics right after i dealt with customs and picked up a significant portion of the parts.
the parts i ordered from tischer arrived today by ups freight on 4/6. i also was able to pick up stuff i ordered from germany. it took a vehicle this size to haul it all safely.    thank goodness i acquired it. ignore the rieger brochure in the last pic     i went by the bodyshop today to take a look at the progress on the car. my full leather recaro sportster cs seats with mounting hardware arrived on friday. some quick pics:         that is it for now. lots of things to do....we will just have to wait to see how it all turns out. i anticipate the car will be in the shop for a few more weeks.

i am beyond impressed with them. it was amazingly difficult to find a set in full leather. recaro na said it would be 5/17 before they had any in. all those are/were spoken for. my inside recaro source told me 2-3 months was realistic for getting a pair of them. but thank you, sony pictures, for canceling part of a large order. i was able to track a pair down after hours and hours of calling my "connections" as well as other recaro dealers. i can't wait to have them installed....heck, i can't wait for the car to be done.
