Power steering

my power steering pump went out and i dnt want to spend money on a brand new one
what power steering pumps would work for a 323
would e 36's work??

My Ride: ESS TS2 320ci
They look similar on realoem, both made by LUK (for E36 / E46) so they *might* fit with certain modifications. They also have different part numbers. Can't you source a used one of an E46? or even a rebuilt unit? Pelican parts sell new LUK and rebuilt ZF power steering pumps, around $350

You can get a cheap one from a salvage yard, may or may not come with a warranty, or if all else fails, you can pick up a cheap re-manufactured one with a warranty off of ebay.
