another short shifter option for e46 xi-ers

according to REALOEM.com the e46 xi models share the SAME shifter as the z3 1.9 model. SO i believe that this will open up some options for xi owners looking for a short shifter kit rather than UUC being the only option ($$$). so any xi owners in the market for a short shifter, just look for shifters that work on the z3 1.9 and it should work for our cars aswell.

nah you can get a ssk for 45 bucks from HPF search megan racing it's the win i'm using it as are a few others

Im using a E60 545i shifter in my car (p/n 25117546373) along with a ZHP weighted knob. It was pretty cheap from Tischer and shifts really nicely. Supposedly it the same shifter that Dinan paints black and puts a Dinan Sticker on.

allot of the bmw shifters are more or less interchangeable... i just dont know how to tell which ones are and which arent for the benefit of a SSK
