Unhappy O2 Sim + MS45.1 DME = good or bad?

Hey, im about to install my headers and supercharger

I got some Technik Gen 3's

Anyways, I got some O2 sims to attach since I will be doing a cat delete.

I was told that the MS45.1 board is hard to fake out with O2 sims... anyone have any experiance with this DME?

It's worth a try. I'm MS43, but no problems.

i believe the MY 2004 - 2006 got MS45 ... this is in the US... i can't comment on any other region as i've heard MS45 was a US only update.

also, it looks like the xi models are all MS43 based on the parts they have. there was never an updated MS45 xi ecu. it will say your ecu type on a sticker on the ecu itself..

I have an MS45.1 DME

I actually believe my car originally had an MS45, but because of the wreck that it got into earlier in it's life, they put the MS45.1 into it as a replacement.

It works fine. Just on long trips you will throw like 5 different codes. Then it will go off after a few restart. Before getting Inspection you will have to get them Cleared.
