My car is a total loss...

Figured I needed somewhere to vent.

Thursday evening, idiot runs a red across me and I t-boned him. Car is a complete write off.

Waiting to see what insurance is going to offer. If I can bear it I'll post pics.

Not a scratch on me though. Airbags and all.

I didn't say it would, but depending on insurance he might get a good amount back that could pay for a good portion of an M.

I was involved in an accident that totaled my parents 2006 Scion xB about 3 weeks ago. They paid $15,500 new and just got a check from AAA for $12,800.

Thanks guys. Just have to wait and see what they offer which I will negotiate.

An M would be nice but it's not pratical for 4 people . Doesn't make financial sense for me right now either. I'll probably end up either getting another touring if I can find a decent one or maybe a 330i sedan, we'll see.

Still kind of shaken up about it.

I'll add my voice to the choir. Sorry to hear that, glad the car protected you on it's way out. Good luck in the next vehicle search and extracting the maximum amount out of the insurance settlement.
