Water coming out of driver side door?

Is this common? I opened my door and not alot but some water drained out of the bottom of the door.
Maybe it was from the seal, man it is hard to tell. I will wash it tonight and see???

yep thats how the door is designed. water flows past the outer (lower) window seal and into the door, down the vapor barrier, and into the bottom of the door. If you look close there are drain holes in the door along the lowest seam so water can drain. If water drains INTO your car...probably your vapor barrier is unglued (common as well...BMW epic design fail).

this happened to me except the water would drip onto my carpet under the driver seat and it made my whole car smell like spoiled milk!
i drilled holes under the door(idk how else to explain it) and it worked..

i suggest you take apart the panel on the door and see if the plastic covering thing is damaged..
if it is ripped: replace with a new one
if it's falling off or not totally cealed: glue it back down

yes. that is normal. If you take off the door panel and look at the foam vapor seal behind the door, you should be able to tell if it is leaking by and therefore going into your car. If you pull off the seal that is how you access the piece of crap window regulator to fix/ replace.

If you open the door and look underneath it you should see a couple small slits along the edge to drain water. make sure they are free of any debris, dirt/ pine needles/ etc (if water is coming out- they must be free and clear).

I would NOT recommend drilling any holes in your door...Samito, I am guessing your vapor barrier came unglued and thats how water can get inside the car. It does happen spontaneously- ask how I know.
