Well, if you do the math, you will discover that a 245 is 9.5 inches wide, and a 235 is about 9.25 inches. Both of these would fit nicely on an 8.5 inch rim.
Divide the first number in the tire size by 25.4 to convert to inches. A tire designation such as 235/35x19 means that the tire is 235mm wide, 35% of that is the height of the sidewall, and 19 is the rim. This tire would be 9.25 inches wide, have a sidewall of about 3.25 inches. |

Depends on the offset of the wheel.
The 330 sport package has 8.5-inch-wide rear rims (Style 68) and the OEM tire size is 245-width. So that's absolutely possible. You could probably go to a 265 in the rear with no trouble, IF you have the right offset, and not too low of a drop. May need to roll the rear fenders if offset is wrong. I think you can do 245-width in the front, but any more than that may be pushin' it. I have 235-width all the way around, on OEM Style 119s which are 17x8. |

I have 255 0n 18x9... I'd like to go 265 when I get new tires. Does the 265 sit flat on the sides, or does the sidewall buldge?

On the Style 68's front is 7.5" rear is 8.5"
Recommended: F: 225/45/17 R: 245/40/17 MAX: F:235/45/17 R:255:40/17 Width wise 17", 18", or 19" doesn't make a difference
