Strut Mount question
How important is that little peg beside one of the 3 bolts on the strut mount? I noticed the peg was a little lower then the passenger side so I lowered the strut and noticed the peg separated from the strut bearing. I also noticed the strut bearing his quite a bit of play when I removed the 3 bolts. Is it time to replace? 185k miles

it just sets the camber in a fixed position, popping the pin out allows for minimal adjustment of camber. At 185k, if the suspension is original it is probably ready to be refreshed though.

Only the strut bearings are original. The rest of the suspension, control arms, bushings, sway bar endlinks, struts, have been refreshed a couple times.
