e46Toronto held its spring meet Saturday afternoon in Mississauga. Decent turnout; nice selection of rides from stock to well........ not so stock anymore....

The route is similar in length to the last couple years, which means expect to see 500km as you return back to the GTA. If you're not in it for the long haul (i.e. you want to bail early) this likely isn't the cruise for you as you will still have a very long drive back, plus all the good roads are about 160km into it (past the first rest stop). What does this mean for the driving enthusiasts? Quiet, smoothly-paved blacktop with lots of challenging and differing curves. We've never had any law-enforcement related incidents on this cruise, and I don't expect that to change...or at least hope it won't. Be on your best behaviour, especially when there's locals watching!

All the time dude. There are regular meets in the GTA (greater Toronto Area) every Fri and Sat night, a regualr meet and cruise on Sunday afternoon; the Spring meet (relatively small) this weekend, Spring Cruise (300m day long cruise through province) May 16th and so many other events. BMW owners show and swap meet is in May as well.

Goes on like this all summer. VERY active BMW owner's community. For those that also track their rides; regular lapping days, autoX competitions, full track days ocurr regularly throughout the summer....

I'm often surprised @ HOW LITTLE seems to be going on in the US within the BMW community.

Yeah, we all get together during the two weeks we can take off our studded tires and drive on regular winter tires.
