I hate when work is busy and I don't have time for the markets... but I love having over 35% return on MGM

I thought I saw someone on here recommend DNDN a couple, 3 weeks ago.
They just had a prostate drug approved today and it shot up 10 bucks to 50.
It was in the 20s a few weeks ago.

Wow ford took a beating today. Looks like a good time to add some more shares. Also anybody playing lvs? I think it is a really good long term hold. I bought in at the 15s and still holding.

What is a good resource to check on the price of seafood futures from the Gulf ?
No doubt it has risen dramatically lately, but I can't find a link to see the market movements?

I can find corn, pork bellies, recycled paper and milk ...but nothing for seafood.
Everything but seafood.

The market is down 3 percent in Japan and 4 percent in China today.
I don't think it will be a boring Thursday.

I just meant for me. My positions were collectively at 0% deviation.

There is a frozen shrimp future in Bloomberg FSVO.

Damn, the DOW is down 408 and there are riots.......still.......in Greece.
Last night on the news they aere remarking on historical trends.

(3.77 percent...........how far does it have to drop before the STOPS come into play. I thought if it dropped a certain amount in one day that they had to stop trading for an hour etc... )

They were talking about the Panic of 1873 and the Depression of 1929. Now they call our current situation the Great Recession. History has documented that economic failures have led to real estate failures which have led to world wars....WW2.

Economic Failure of 1929- Depression of 1930's - WW2 began 1939

I know you can apply any kind of logic you want to past observations . Anyone can cherry pick specific evidence to support your arguement, but it was an interesting analogy.

quick question, do you sell all your stocks at this point and take a huge loss or hold on until they rise again when dealing with long positions? I'm thinking keep them since they are bound to go up again but is this right? Been new to the market (6 months) and have been doing well so far but these last three days have been murder... also due to my schedule, I can't check the market until the last two hours of trading if that helps...
