All of my trades have entry points, exit goals and exit stops. If it is doing well I'll move up my goal and my stops. I've been stopped out of everything I had this week but all at a profit.

I use bracket orders to enter any position, it includes an entry price and once executed automatically enters a stop order to minimize losses and a limit order to sell if my target is reached. If I move my goal up I also move my stop up. I never move my stop down.

I'm scared to pull the trigger, but I'm finding some good buys, GOOGLE is getting crazy cheap and I can't believe DPZ is getting hammered like it is.

In this case, the DJIA double bottomed, ran to trendline resistance and died.

Anyone here playing the vix? At 15.xx the vix was a no brainer buy (via VXX or vix futures). But now, at 40.xx I think it's a little overdone. I have a $400 position short the VXX. We'll see how it plays out monday. This is purely acting on gut feeling- hence the small position size.

With the vix this high it's also a great time to WRITE calls and puts, premiums grew big time with the recent run up in the vix.
