Exclamation !!Convertible Help, something to do with the roof

Hey Guys, i have a 323ci convertible, and i broke something off today, and i was wondering if any of you knew if there was a way to fix this without braking the part?

im trying to make this










look like the other side, this





any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Don't worry -- it is common for these to pop out. It looks like none of the tabs broke, so that's good. Here's how to reinstall:

- Rehearse the installation without the spring; learn how it goes together first.
- Make sure you get the tabs in the correct tracks -- there are two sets.
- Once you can do it without the spring, attach the spring to one side (car or loose piece, I can't remember which) with the plastic rod in the spring's center.
- Attach the other end of the spring and you're done.

btw Don't let people sit on the car, that's how my cover came off last time.
