What is a 710 ?

A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage.
A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-and-ten.

We all looked at each other and another customer asked, 'What is a seven-hundred-and-ten?'
She replied, 'You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and I need a new one.'
She said that she didn't know exactly what it was, or what it did, but this piece had always been there.

The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like.
She drew a circle and in the middle of it she wrote 710.

He wasn't making much progress, so he took her over to another car which had its bonnet up and asked: 'Is there a seven-hundred-and-ten on this
car?'

She pointed and said, 'Of course there is. It's right there!'

If you're not sure what a 710 looks like, scroll down

That's OLD! Haha, still a cracker though!

The funniest car-related story I have is a girl asked me if her car had good fuel economy. To try to work it out for her, I asked how many Kilometers she was getting out of a tank, then asked her how many litres her fuel tank was, to which she replied "I think it's 2 and a half liters"..
Pause... WTF? "Sweetheart, think about it, if petrol is a $1.50 (as it was back in those days), that means you're paying under $5 to fill up the car!"
"Oh yeah I guess that makes sense". Turns out she read the engine size badge on the back of her car, thinking that was the petrol tank capacity! D'oh!
