want my car to sit about half inch higher

This is a pic of my car with raceland suspension kit. I need to my car sit about half an inch higher, I scrape no matter how I try to pull into my driveway. I don't want to keep this suspension because the right front coilover is blown after a year of being on the car and the ride is too bouncy. I was looking at the h&r sport cup kit will this be about the same height? I would like to stay in the price range of the h&r kit.

I don't know if your response is meant to be smart or serious. He said he wanted to stay in the price range of the H&R cup kit. Stock sport suspension new is more than twice as expensive as the cup kit, and around here, more expensive than decent coilovers.

The H&R may give you the look you want. My personal search has found that there is very little in the same price as the cup kit. For ~$100-$200 more you can source Koni's and Eibachs (or H&R sport/race) and there are quite a few pictures here for both kits if you search. Look at as many pics as you can to decide if the drop and rake are what you are looking for out of any particular brand.

Cup kit is fine - but you need to get the right version. The "race" cupkit is lower than the normal one so make sure you specify.


That said, Raceland coilovers are the best on the market.

I know on the rears, you can install the 15mm rear spring pads from an Xi. Not sure what to do about the fronts...maybe custom springs?

just send the shock back to raceland. they will send you a new one. and then raise the car itself. they are coils for a reason. you can adjust the height.

ya what he said.. they will actually send you out a new shock first. then you return your broken one.. they even pay for shipping..

Install XI springs.

I can even sell ya my old ones. That would look trick!
