That's true. When I went with her on Easter I was surprised at how relaxed it felt for a catholic church. I think they may be ok with it. I hope.

i would imagine that later on in life one becomes more selfless (not insisting that you are a selfish person right now, but you get what a mean)

if all goes well, and you fall in love with her more and more every day that goes by, and then when you put your pippy in her and make beautiful babies

I used to not want to get involved with girls that had genetic "defects." I got over it, though.

And Solly, to get married in Holy Mother Church, you don't need to be Catholic. If you're not, then they will not allow you to recieve the Eucharist. If you convert, and go through the entire RCIE process, then you will be in full communion with the Church, and you will be allowed to recieve.

I would say he should stick it out though. If he truley loves her then yes it's a bad situation, but nothing beats true love.

I've got a mate that's just been diagnosed with a form of Motor Neurons (think you guys in the states call it Lou Gerhigs disease) and I'm a bit worried about him finding a girl.

Your mates girl is gunna need all the support she can get, so's your mate. He sounds like a decent guy sticking by her so far though!
